He slams Sonu Nigam on the Azaan opinion and shared a video where he said, if you want to stop anything than you should ask to stop drugs, corruption instead of Azaan. मीका सिंह ने ट्विटर पर लिखा था, ‘मैं एक गायक के तौर पर आपका बहुत सम्मान करता हूं. मुझे लगता है लाउडस्पीकर बदलने के बजाए आपको अपना घर बदलकर कहीं और रहना चाहिए.’ मीका सिंह ने आगे लिखा, ‘गुरुद्वारा, मंदिर, मस्जिद और चर्च सिर्फ लाउडस्पीकर के लिए नहीं हैं. वह दान, लंगर और ऐसी ही चीजों के लिए होते हैं.’ मीका ने कहा है, “चाहें सोनू निगम हों या कोई और हो बस मैं यही कहूंगा कि जो चीजें चलती आ रही है उन्हें अचानक रोक दें वो बुरी बात है. सुबह उठना अच्छी बात है. अगर हमें रोकना है तो नशे को रोकना चाहिए. भ्रष्टाचार रोकना चाहिए.”
